WTK project cooperates with many national and international organizations, business sector, government agencies in order to effectively implement the objectives and goals of the project and achieve better results in the development of sustainable winter tourism in the Kyrgyz Republic.

  • Department of Tourism

    The Department of Tourism is a subordinate unit of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Department performs out its activities in accordance with the KG Constitution, the KG laws and other regulatory legal acts of the Kyrgyz Republic adopted therein, duly and legally executed international agreements, to which the Kyrgyz Republic is a party, as well as the Department Regulation. The main tasks of the Tourism department are creation of the favorable conditions for the tourism sector development and formation of the positive image of the country.

  • Public Union Destination Karakol is a registered non-profit organization, founded in March 2016 in Karakol town, began with a clear mission: create a strong, vibrant tourism industry that makes Karakol a better place to live for local people. Comprised of more than 36 local stakeholders — including accommodation providers, restaurants, tour operators, local businesses, and local government authorities — the DMO focuses its efforts in several key areas: the improvement of guest service standards; coordination of tourism marketing and product development efforts; reinforcement of the city’s infrastructure; availability of high quality tourism information through its Visitor Center; and the establishment of partnerships with local, national, and international entities.

  • KATO

    The Kyrgyz Association of Tour Operators is one of the largest and leading associations of representatives of the tourism industry in Kyrgyzstan.
